It is always a big pleasure to watch the performance of the engineering creations and this time it’s about the largest passenger plane in the world that is currently being produced.
The video footage below shows that the force of nature was not strong enough to prevent an Airbus A380 from landing at the airport of Duesseldorf in Germany despite serious crosswind conditions.
The stormy weather with powerful wind gusts did not appear to be a big issue for the pilots since the huge plane, which can weigh more than 500 tons, landed safely on the runway.
The quad-engine, wide-body, double-deck super jet aircraft is capable of performing long range flights of up to 15,200 km.
The A380 made its maiden flight on 27 April 2005 and entered commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines
